Kitchen Overload

We finally got all of our groceries in the mail that we sent from Anchorage. We only had a few casualties (exploded cake mix, flour, and oatmeal), which is not too bad! It is still amazing to us what the boxes look like by the time we get them. It's like they are thrown out of a plane to the post office instead of brought there by hand. It's always interesting to open a box and see what the contents inside look like. We use a lot of tape to repair boxes and bags of food. Life in the bush is definitely different! Now that we have everything, our kitchen is definitely overflowing with food. Here is a picture of the overflow on top of our cabinets (remember that all of our cupboard are already packed full!):
